Running a half marathon

There are moments in life when no one can bring you down, whether it is a moment than lasts for an hour ,a day, a week, but it feels great. And these moments are so important because they are like a reminder that you can do whatever you want, that you are powerful.

One moment that made me realize how powerful I am was when I cross the finish line after running a half marathon. It feels so amazing. You will find strength and ambition that you never knew existed in you. Running half marathon is not that easy, but it’s not that hard either. It takes courage and determination.

If you’ve never participated in a half marathon before and you might be afraid that you’ll be the last person to cross the finish line, don’t worry about that. And, even if you do finish last, be proud of being out there and crossing the finish line at all! You’re still ahead of all those people at home doing nothing! Or if you are afraid you won’t be able to finish the race, don’t be! You can do it! Human body is really powerful and you will see it too. The mind is the only one who will tell you that you can’t do it ( and maybe a friend or two). But you have to be strong and keep moving forward. You are strong, your body is strong, so don’t you worry!

It’s an amazing experience and I encourage everyone to participate at least once.Β The only thing that feels better than running a half marathon for you, is when you’re running a half marathon for someone else. Usually you can support a project, or someone by running, so that’s a big motivation to do it.

You must expect great things from youself before you can do them.
