A day in Antwerp

Before leaving to Belgium I searched for places I wanted to visit. I saw some pictures and I liked the buildings, how everything looked, but most important I find out that there’s a Mode Museums, so I couldn’t ask for more. It was perfect! I loved walking around the old town. The architecture is incredible!

The Cathedral of Our Lady

Absolutely gorgeous. It is a beautiful building, full of great art and fine sculptural detail.

Grote Markt Van Antwerp

The Grote Markt is another big attraction in Antwerp. This place is so full of history and old buildings; beautiful square. In front of the Town Hall is a statue of the hand being thrown, and all around there are restaurants, just to satisfy your hunger or thirst.

Momu (Mode Museum)

This is one of the reasons I went to this city. The museum is small, but nice. There are only temporary exhibitions. So what you get to see very much depends on the topic of the exhibition. The present one (till 14 August), called “Game changers – Reinventing the 20th century silhouette”, it focuses on the work of Spanish fashion designer Cristobál Balenciaga. I want to talk more about this museum in a separately post.

I didn’t see so much, but this city is definitely worth a visit, because it has a lot of things to offer, a lot of beautiful places and amazing building.

Btw, looks like A is everywhere! :))) ( pll fans will understand)

Have a nice week, ladies!
