First day in Brussels

Good morning, ladies! I am in bed right now, eating some amazing sweets ( can’t help myself- these are so, so good), because it’s cold and it’s raining here. I am in Brussels! So happy to be here. The city is amazing and I am already in love.

I am going to stay here for a long time, I wanted to be away from everything, to see other places and relax. I haven’t done so many things on my first day because, I will have time to explore the city. The first thing I did when I woke up was to go to a big market to buy a lot of fruits for breakfast. Then, on the way “home” I saw on the streets the ‘Brocante'(French world for the vintage home decor).

In the afternoon I visited the National Basilica of the Sacred Heart. It’s amazing. The massive brick and concrete reinforced church features two thin towers and a green copper dome that rises 89 metres above the ground, dominating the northwestern skyline of Brussels.

This was everything I did on my first day. I will tell you more about this city every day!
